Confirmed Musicians for the Yorktown Rally for Social Justice on June 25th
- Phun Doctors, a premier classic rock & oldies band from right here in Hampton Roads. The Phun Doctors play popular oldies, rock & roll, novelty, and classic songs of the past 40 years.
- BurnDown All-Stars, a Philadelphia band offering a unique mix of hip-hop and jam-band genres of live music. The BurnDown All-Star roster is a revolving door of some of the most exciting bands in Philadelphia. The BurnDown crew at the Yorktown Rally will feature the Dave Quicks Band.
- Scooter Scudieri, whose bold attitude is rivaled only by his artistic integrity. His music has an enlightened character and straightforward attitude that offers a powerful affirmation of the human spirit. Inspired by music of the â60s and â70s era singer/songwriters like Cat Stevens and John Lennon, Scooter realized his message was best communicated through song. Heavily influenced by the concepts and presence of David Bowie and Kiss, Scooter learned to focus his energy on presentation and constant re-invention.
- Mia Johnson sings smart, sexy and gritty songs. Mia Johnsonâs Band illuminates the Mid-Atlanticâs premier venues (NYCâs The Bitter End, Phillyâs Tin Angel, The Point, The Grape Street and The Trocodaro). The five-piece consists of Erin Ryan (cello), Jeff Hiatt (bass), Rocco Decicco(lead guitar), Tom Walling(drums) and Adrien Reju(backing vocals and percussion). With the ability to jump between straight-up rock grooves and swinging world beats, this collection of accomplished musicians deftly compliments Miaâs eclectic musical vision while maintaining the subtlety of the singer/songwriter genre.
